INNOPUR SHIELD PU BITUMEN-2K ECO

DEFINITION
It is a fast curing, two component, polyurethane based liquid material enriched with bitumen. It forms a highly elastic film by adhering strongly to almost all kinds of surfaces. Its resistance to chemicals and mechanical effects is excellent. It can be used as joint filling material. Its content is based on polyurethane resin and supplemented with chemically polymerized bitumen.

ADVANTAGES
• It cures fast.
• Thick coat can be applied, it does not form bubbles.
• Unmixed components other than the application amount can be stored for later use.
• It has excellent crack bridging properties due to its low modulus.
• It exhibits effective resistance against chemicals.
• It adheres perfectly to all kinds of surfaces, with or without a primer.
• Although it does not need to be thinned, it can be thinned with polyurethane thinner according to the conditions.
• Its thermal resistance is excellent, the product never softens.
• Maximum usage temperature is 80°C, maximum shock temperature is 200°C.
• It is resistant to cold, the film maintains its elasticity down to -40 °C.
• It has excellent mechanical properties.
• Elongation ability, tensile strength. It has high tear and abrasion resistance.
• It functions effectively as a water vapor barrier.
• It can also be applied as a joint filling material.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Environmental Conditions
• The relative humidity of the air should be at most 80%, and the application temperature (environment and surface) should be between +3°C and +35°C.
• It should not be rainy 24 hours before, during and 24 hours after the application in open areas.
• The ground temperature should be 3°C above the current dew (dew) temperature. (Ask for the Ambient temperature-Ambient Humidity-Dew Temperature table from our company.) Surface types where successful results can be obtained:

Concrete, fiber cement, terrazzo, cementitious roof tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal and galvanized steel surfaces. For other substrates, please contact our technical department.

APPLICATION DETAILS

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; Oil, grease, fuel and paraffin waste should be removed, as well as completely free from mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles and cured membranes.

To mix up
After mixing the two components in equal amounts by hand or with a mixer operating at low speed (300 rpm), apply immediately. The pot life of the mixture is 30-45 minutes at 20 °C. In airless spray application, it may be necessary to thin the mixture with a small amount of thinner, especially if it is a machine with low power.

Application
Apply the material with a brush, roller or spatula.

Minimum consumption
1.1-1.6 kg/m2.

STORAGE INFORMATION
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. The life of the material is 1 year for components A and B when stored properly and in its unopened original packaging.

HEALTH/SAFETY INFORMATION
Comply with the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prepared in accordance with the EU directives regarding the product. Although it does not contain volatile substances, it is highly recommended to create suitable ventilation conditions in closed environments. Also, methane gas seeping from the soil may have accumulated in the tanks. Precautions should always be taken with this possibility in mind. Ask your vendor for the Material Information Safety Sheet (MSDS).
