INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K

DEFINITION
INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K is a two-component, polyurethane-based product used for bonding tile and roller rubbers. Cures at room temperature.

PLACE OF USE
✓ Bonding rubber floor coverings to concrete, metal and asphalt indoors and outdoors,
✓ Attaching prefabricated light walls made using polyurethane, wooden boards, cork and metallic foils,
✓ Bonding of sandwich panels made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals to wood; It is used for bonding tiles and panels made of cork or SBR, which provide sound insulation, on wet floors such as bathrooms and kitchens in buildings.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation
The surface must be dry and clean. The surface should be free of oil, wax, grease, water repellants, dust, unbound loose parts. Humidity should be maximum 8%.

New Concrete
Concrete must be at least 28 days old and must not have any curing material on its surface.

Old Concrete
There should be no easily removable parts on the surface and no sanding or dusting.

Metal
The surface must be clean

Lining
Concrete, asphalt, metal surfaces are primed with our single or two-component PU-based primer. Primer application can be done by brush or roller. Primer consumption is 150-400 gr/m² depending on surface smoothness, strength and absorbency. After the primer application, wait for a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 12 hours and then apply the adhesive to the surface.

To mix up
A mechanical mixer with 100-200 revolutions is used for mixing. Maximum care is taken to prevent air from entering the adhesive during mixing. All of Component B (Hardener) is poured into Component A. Mixing time should be at least 5 minutes. It may be necessary to scrape the side walls and bottom of the container with a spatula to ensure a homogeneous mixture. It is very important to mix 2 components homogeneously for adhesive performance. A sign that the mixture is well mixed is if the color is homogeneous.

Usage Period of the Mixture
When the A and B Components of INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBEBR-2K are mixed, the reaction heats up because it is exothermic. Especially on hot days, when the INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBEBR-2K full package is mixed, it is recommended to pour the entire mixture on the floor and spread it. The mixture should be used within 30-40 minutes, depending on the air temperature. At low temperatures, the service life of the mixture will be extended, and at high temperatures, the service life of the mixture will be shortened.

APPLICATION TOOLS and APPLICATION
INNOPUR SPORT PU ADHESIVE RUBBER-2K is applied with a notched trowel. Trowel selection and consumption depend on the structure of the surfaces to be bonded. Consumption may vary between 500-1000 gr/m². Applying a moving or constant pressure on the bonded surfaces is important for the performance of the adhesive. If pressure is applied, all of the surfaces to be adhered will come into contact with the adhesive and will be transferred to the surfaces homogeneously.

CLEANING
Excess adhesive and tool cleaning can be done with Thinner while the adhesive is wet. Hardened adhesive can only be removed mechanically.

SHELF LIFE
1 year for components A and B in their original unopened packaging and at storage temperatures of 10-25 ºC. Protect Components A and B from direct sunlight and moisture.
