INNOPUR SHIELD PU CRYSTAL-80

DEFINITION
It is a one-component, polyurethane-based liquid product with a high solids content. It cures with moisture in the air, forming a highly durable and elastic film. It has excellent UV resistance and high hydrophobic property. Due to its aliphatic structure, it does not fade or turn yellow when exposed to sunlight. Its content is based on pure elastomeric, hydrophobic, aliphatic polyurethane resin, which gives the material excellent resistance to UV and other natural factors, as well as chemical, mechanical and thermal.

ADVANTAGES
• It has excellent weather and UV resistance.
• Its thermal resistance is excellent, the product never softens. Maximum service temperature 80°C; maximum shock temperature is 200°C
• It can be applied in thick layers, it does not bubble.
• It can be applied without thinning. However, if necessary, it can be thinned with a special solvent.
• Cold resistance The film retains its elasticity down to -40°C.
• It has excellent mechanical properties.
• Effective resistance to chemicals
• It is effective in water vapor permeability: Since the film breathes, moisture accumulation does not occur under the floor.

LIMITATIONS
Cannot be applied in thick coats

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Environmental Conditions
The relative humidity of the air should be at most 80%, the application temperature (environment and surface) should be between +3°C and +35°C. It should not be rainy 24 hours before, during and 24 hours after the application in open areas. The ground temperature should be 3°C above the current dew (dew falling) temperature. (Ask for the Ambient temperature-Ambient Humidity-Dew Temperature table from our company.) It is not recommended for unstable substrates. It is not applied in thick layers. Surface types with successful results: Tiles, cement-based roof tiles, concrete, wood, corroded metal and galvanized steel surfaces.

Surface Preparation
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; Oil, grease, fuel and paraffin waste should be removed, as well as completely free from mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles and cured membranes. The application surface must be DRY.

Lining
Primer (INNOPUR PRIMER) should be used on non-porous surfaces such as ceramics and marble. Apply the primer with a clean cloth without allowing it to accumulate and run (as if cleaning the surface).

To mix up
Mix by hand or with an electric mixer operating at low speed. It can be applied without thinning. Special solvent can be used when necessary. Application: As soon as the primer dries (15-20 minutes), apply one or two coats with a roller. The time between coats should not exceed 24 hours.

CONSUMPTION
Minimum total consumption: 0.2-1.0 kg/m2

STORAGE INFORMATION
It can be stored for a minimum of 12 months in unopened original buckets, in dry environments at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. The material in the opened bucket should be used as soon as possible.
