INNOPUR PRIMER EP AQUA-2K

DEFINITION
It is a two component water based epoxy primer. By penetrating deep into the surface, it strengthens the surface and creates an adhesion surface for the insulation coating. It can also be used alone as a varnish as a surface protector. It can be used as epoxy repair mortar by mixing with cement based filling materials.

GENERAL FEATURES

SCOPE OF APPLICATION
• As a primer in applications against negative pressure and moisture (warehouses, pools, foundations, etc.)
• As a primer in applications such as epoxy, polyurethane or cement based systems.
• As a concrete sealing coat
• As an adhesive layer between old and new concrete.
• As a water and moisture barrier

APPLICATION DETAILS
Thoroughly mix the two components with each other by hand or with a mixer operating at low speed (300 rpm). Thin the mixture by adding 10-30% water. Since it is very dependent on weather conditions, the recoat time cannot be determined precisely: It can be as short as 5 hours in summer and as long as 24 hours in winter. You can determine when to recoat by touching your finger: When the applied coat starts to change from milky white to transparent color and reaches a hardness that cannot be pierced with your finger, the next coat (INNOPUR SHILED) should be applied.

CONSUMPTION
As a primer: Apply one or two coats with a total consumption of 150 gr/m2 in thin coats.

As a water and moisture barrier
Apply three coats with a total consumption of 600 gr/m2.
