INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT D-2K
INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT D-2K
DEFINITION
It is a two-component, solvent-free, polyurethane-based liquid material. It forms a moderately elastic, strong film by adhering to almost all types of surfaces with superior performance. Its content is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin and special inorganic fillers that give the material excellent resistance to chemical effects and abrasion. It tends to turn yellow when exposed to direct or indirect UV rays. However, this is a superficial change, it does not affect the waterproofing properties and protection performance in any way. Pigmented aliphatic topcoats should be used to preserve color.
PLACE OF USE
• Industrial floors
• Parking lots
• Stadium tribunes
• Tanks containing chemicals
• Waste water/chemical treatment tanks
• Waste water tanks
ADVANTAGES
• It adheres perfectly to almost all kinds of surfaces.
• Since it does not contain solvent, it can be easily applied in closed areas.
• Resistance to cold The film maintains its elasticity down to -40°C.
• It has high thermal resistance.
• The product will never soften again. Maximum service temperature 90°C; the maximum shock temperature is 200°C.
• It has high chemical resistance.
• It has superior mechanical properties: It has high tensile, tear strength and abrasion resistance.
• It does not contain toxic substances after curing.
• Suitable for sealing water tanks.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Environmental Conditions
The relative humidity of the air should be at most 80%, the application temperature (environment and surface) should be between +3°C and +35°C. It should not be rainy 24 hours before, during and 24 hours after the application in open areas. The ground temperature should be 3°C above the current dew (dew falling) temperature. (Ask for the Ambient temperature-Ambient Humidity-Dew Temperature table from our company.)
Surface types with successful results
Concrete, fiber cement, terrazzo, cementitious roof tiles, old but well-adhered acrylic and asphalt coatings, wood, corroded metal and galvanized steel surfaces. Application for concrete tanks: The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; Oil, grease, fuel and paraffin waste should be removed, as well as completely free from mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles and cured membranes. Surface defects and cracks should be repaired by filling with suitable products. For warehouses made of materials other than concrete, please contact our technical department.
Preparation of the Mixture
It is a two-component product and should be prepared in the specified mixture ratio, considering the pot life, as much as the amount to be consumed. In order to obtain a homogeneous mixture, the product temperature should not be less than 15°C. Component A should be mixed quickly with a mechanical mixer, and the hardener (component B) should be added by paying attention to the mixing ratio. Mix components A and B with a mixer running at low speed (300 rpm) for at least 3 minutes until homogeneous. Care should be taken to consume the prepared mixture within the pot life period.
Minimum total consumption
0.3-0.5 kg/m2.
PACKING INFORMATION
4.5 kg (comp. A: 3 kg, comp. B: 1.5 kg)
15 kg (comp. A: 10 kg, comp. B: 5 kg)
CAP LIFE
• Pot life of the two components mixed is 30 minutes at 20°C.
To extend the pot life
• Keep the container containing the mixture in a cool environment, away from the sun.
• First pour the mixed product onto the floor to loosen it, then spread it out.
• Pour the mixed product into a wide, shallow bowl.
STORAGE INFORMATION
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. The life of the material is 1 year for components A and B when stored properly and in its unopened original packaging.
