INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT D-1K

DEFINITION
It is a one-component, polyurethane-based liquid material that cures with humidity in the air. It forms a very strong film by adhering to almost any surface with a superior performance. It shows excellent resistance to chemicals and hydrolysis. It is an ideal product for the protection of metal structures against corrosion. It is suitable for chemical treatment tanks, waste water pools and sewage pipes. It has a very high resistance against gases such as methane and hydrogen sulfide, which are released in the wastewater treatment process. One or two coats are applied with a roller, brush or airless spraying machine, with a maximum consumption of 150 gr/m2 for each coat. It doesn't need to be reviewed.

The lacquer is applied by airless spray or roller in the amount or such amount specified in the paint system to achieve the desired dry film thickness controlled by the film comb. Waiting time between coats is minimum 6 hours (20°C) and maximum 5 days. It is very important that the second coat is applied within the above-mentioned topcoat time. It reaches full mechanical and chemical strength in about 7 days.

LIMITATIONS
• Not recommended for unstable substrates.
• Not suitable for thick coat application.

APPLICATION DETAILS
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; Oil, grease, fuel and paraffin waste should be removed, as well as completely free from mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles and cured membranes. Surface defects and cracks should be filled with suitable products and repaired.

To mix up
It does not need to be thinned.

Application
Apply one or two coats with a brush, roller or airless sprayer. Each coat must be discarded before the previous one has fully cured. Thus, maximum adhesion between the layers is ensured.

CONSUMPTION
Maximum consumption for each layer: 150 gr/m2.
Maximum total consumption: 300 gr/m2.
Maximum total consumption in continuous contact with chemicals: 450 gr/m2.

CLEANING
Clean tools and equipment first with a paper towel, then wipe with SOLVENT.

SHELF LIFE
It can be stored for a minimum of 12 months in unopened original buckets, in dry environments at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. The material in the opened bucket should be used as soon as possible.
