Low temperature or high humidity increases the drying time. The maximum surface temperature is 50˚C.
SURFACE PREPARATION
For Acrylic Resurfacer application, new hot asphalt surfaces must be degassed for a minimum of 14 – 21 days. Mortar residue etc. on the cured surface. After it is removed by light sanding or brushing, the selected primer is applied. Old paint, dirt, dust, etc. on the old concrete and cement plaster surface. During drying, water accumulates in the hollow areas. After these areas are determined with chalk, they should be repaired with Acrylic Repair Binder after the surface dries completely. Primer: Priming asphalt surfaces with acrylic Primer is required if the existing asphalt is exposed to severe weather conditions. When Acrylic Resurfacer is applied to new concrete surfaces, Acrylic Primer is required for adherence.
CONSUMPTION
Acrylic Resurfacer maximum dilution ratio is 3:2. 1 kg. 4 m2 of floor can be primed with the product. However, the consumption still varies depending on the roughness of the surface.
MIXING RATIOS
Acrylic Resurfacer 60 kg Silica sand (50-55 Mesh) 60 kg
APPLICATION GUIDE
Application
Acrylic Resurfacer application should be done with the Rubber Squeege (Come Back) in the same direction as the floor. If the floor is warm, the floor should be moistened with water spray for a good application.
CLEANING
All tools used in applications can be cleaned with water without drying.
MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED IN APPLICATION
Weather Conditions: Acrylic Resurfacer should never be applied in rainy weather (when it is raining), the surface temperature should be minimum 14˚C and maximum 50˚C for application. It should never be applied above 50˚C.
indoor applications
In indoor applications, high relative humidity, low temperature and insufficient ventilation may delay the drying time. These three factors should be taken into account especially in indoor areas. Frost protection: Since Acrylic Resurfacer is a water-based acrylic polymer, it should be protected from freezing during storage and shipping.
