CELLULOSIC BASED TRANSPARENT INTERMEDIATE COLORS

DEFINITION
It is an alkyd and nitrocellulose based, one component, air drying, transparent cellulosic interlayer colorant paint.

PLACE OF USE
It is applied on cellulosic or polyurethane filling varnishes as an intermediate layer colorant in all kinds of wooden furniture for internal use.

NOTE
Drying times are the times that can be obtained when applied in a way that leaves a dry film thickness of 25 microns in one coat under normal conditions. It should be known that the drying time will increase as the application thickness increases and in cold weather.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Surface Preparation
The application surface must be clean and solid. Polyurethane or Cellulosic filler varnish applied surfaces should be cleaned of dust on the surface after appropriate sanding.

Ambient conditions
Ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C. In applications to be carried out in closed environments, ventilation should be considered.

Preparation of the Mixture
Care should be taken to ensure that the paint to be thinned is at a minimum of 15°C. It should be brought to the application viscosity with the addition of Green Lack Cellulosic Thinner, and a homogeneous mixture should be provided by using a mechanical mixer if necessary.

Application to the Surface
Transparent Paint is applied by spraying method after thinning with 40-50% thinner on the filled varnish applied surfaces. Care should be taken to ensure that the application is crosswise in two or three layers, depending on the desired color tone. After waiting for at least 6 hours, it is sanded with 360-600 numbered sandpaper and optionally Green Lack Cellulosic, Polyurethane or Acrylic top coat varnishes are applied. If desired, after thinning with cellulosic thinner, it can also be applied by adding it into top coat varnishes.

With cellulosic thinner.

PACKING INFORMATION
It is 12 kg net in a bucket, 2.5 kg net in a gallon, and 0.75 kg net in a box.

STORAGE INFORMATION
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. The life of the material is 1 year when stored properly and in its unopened original packaging.
