AQUA GUARD ELASTOMER PRO

DEFINITION
Elastomeric resin based, ready to use, UV resistant, super elastic waterproofing material.

Usage Areas
It is used as a UV resistant, colored, ready-to-use, super elastic waterproofing material in interior and exterior spaces of all buildings, roofs, streams and gutters, chimney and parapet edges, northern facades.

APPLICATION SURFACES
• Cement-based screeds, plasters, exposed concrete and slabs
• Galvanized, zinc and aluminum surfaces
• Old bituminous surfaces (at least 1 year old)

SURFACE PREPARATION
• The surface must be clean, smooth and solid, free from residues such as mold oil that prevents adhesion, and loose parts.
• Application surfaces should be primed with Aqua Guard Elastomer Pro diluted 1/4 with water.
• Difficult surfaces such as old bitumen and metal should be primed with PRIMER EP 2K for high adherence.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
• Ambient temperature should be between +10°C and +35°C.
• Avoid application in very humid and/or very hot weather.
• It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or where there is a risk of frost within 24 hours.

CONSUMPTION
1.5-2.0 kg/m² (for 1 mm application thickness)

APPLICATION TOOLS
Brush, roller, spray.

Application
• After the primer coat application has dried, Aqua Guard Elastomer Pro should be applied to the entire surface in at least 2 coats, without diluting, using a roller, brush or spray method.
• Fine cracks, joints, corners and edges should be supported with polyester felt after the first coat application.
• Polyester felt application on terrace roofs should be applied to the entire surface after the first layer application. After the first coat has dried, the second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first.
• Wait at least 6 hours between coats.

WARNINGS AND SUGGESTIONS
• Not applicable against negative water pressure.
• Salt water should never be used.
• Absolutely foreign materials should not be added.
• All tools used after the application should be washed with water before drying.

SHELF LIFE
• 1 year from the date of manufacture in dry and cool environments.
• The mouth of the containers should be tightly closed when not in use.
• Packages should be protected from freezing.

• Use appropriate safety equipment (mask, gloves, goggles).
• Protect your eyes and face.
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
